Thailand: Bangkok

Grand Palace

Grand Palace is one of the most famous landmarks in Bangkok. Built in 1782, it was the home for the Thai King for over a century. It’s filled with breathtaking architecture in the heart of Bangkok.

Khaosan Road

Khaosan Road is a street in central Bangkok that is filled with bars, clubs and open drinking tables. Great place to spend a weekend night hanging out with tourists and locals.

Chatuchak Market

The Chatuchak weekend market has over 8,000 shops, and many goods are sold at very cheap prices. You can find just about anything here, well worth fighting through the crowds!

Chatuchak Park

Right next to the Chatuchak Market, there is a beautiful park right next door. Tons of locals and tourist flock here to chill and relax. It also has a beautiful butterfly garden/dome!

China Town

China town had tons of street food and shops. I recommend eating the duck noodle soup there – it is fantastic at a cheap price!

National Museum

The national museum was very informative and big. It has hundreds of Thai art and artifacts.

Lumphini Park

Similar to the Chatuchak Park, Lumphini Park is also an inner-city haven that provides fresh air and tranquility.

Siam Paragon

Bangkok’s weather is hot, and Siam Paragon (and its 3 surrounding mall complexes) is one of the biggest malls in Bangkok. There are not only stores but cool things to see throughout the building.
